2020 Nissan Versa Overview
Attendees of the beach concert bash known as Rock the Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival got an unexpected surprise this year when Nissan, in partnership with Live Nation, unveiled the all-new 2020 Nissan Versa in the midst of a performance by country musician Kane Brown.
It’s safe to assume the sandy revelers were awestruck by the new dramatic design, both interior and exterior, and even more impressed by the hefty load of safety and technology features not typically found in the subcompact car segment. Though they could be forgiven for jumping to the conclusion that the price tag would be similarly boosted, the 2020 Nissan Versa will still be keeping their cost affordable just like Versa models of years past.
The 2020 Nissan Versa employs the automaker’s “emotional geometry” philosophy in its striking, dramatic design. The dimensions are lower, wider, and longer, while the roomy interior is preserved intact. Proportion and stance are manipulated in unique new ways. It will also boast eight vibrant color options.
The able 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine pumps out 122 horsepower and 144 pound-feet of torque. Efficiency will likely be similar to that of the 2019 Versa.
