Nissan strives to always provide Alabama drivers with the latest technologies and features in their vehicles, yet the 2016 lineup continues to amaze. The 2016 lineup features the all-new Nissan Maxima and the all-new TITAN XD pickup as well as significant refreshes to the Altima and Sentra. Here are just some of the exciting changes you can expect in the 2016 lineup.
The 2016 Nissan Frontier takes the existing, highly capable pickup and adds the option of a Magnetic Black, Gun Metallic, or Sunset Orange exterior. It also adds a moonroof to the Frontier Crew Cab SV. As before, you can pick from 4×2 and 4×4; King Cab and Crew Cab; and S, SV, PRO-4X, Desert Runner, and SL trims.
For 2016, the Rogue SL Premium Package is adding Forward Emergency Braking, and this trim level also gets NissanConnect Services from SiriusXM. Other changes affecting all or some trims include the addition of Siri Eyes Free, optional body-colored exterior mirrors featuring integrated turn signals, chrome door handles, and a Magnetic Black exterior color.
The 2016 Nissan Maxima is an all-new large sedan that will offer incredible technology, performance, and style. This model represents the 8th generation and is known as the “4-door sports car” in the Nissan lineup. It runs on a new 300-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine with over 60 percent new parts and has a new Xtronic transmission that is performance-oriented. Available upgrades include premium Ascot Leather-appointed seats, Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Cruise Control, and Forward Emergency Braking.
For 2016, the stylish Nissan Juke adds the choice of two Personal package options, which will paint the outside mirrors as well as door handles and add yellow seat inserts, interior stitching, and a yellow center console. It also now comes with Siri Eyes Free and can still be configured as FWD or AWD in the S, SV, or SL model.

When Montgomery drivers are looking for their next vehicle, they usually turn to Nissans. After choosing to drive a Nissan pickup truck, you will still have to pick between the Frontier and Titan. Each is a quality vehicle with Nissan’s warranty and reliability, but they tend to appeal to slightly different crowds.
The very first thing you will notice when looking at the Nissan Frontier and Titan is their size. The Titan is a full-size pickup, while the Frontier is a compact. As such, the Frontier has a lower MSRP as well. This makes it important to think about how you plan on using the truck and where it will be stored.
Because the Titan is larger than the Frontier, it should come as no surprise that it also has a larger, more powerful engine. The Nissan Titan runs on a 5.6-liter V8 engine that generates 317 horsepower and 385 pound-feet of torque, towing up to 9,300 pounds depending on how you configure it. The Nissan Frontier comes with either a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder (152 horsepower and 171 pound-feet of torque) or a 4-liter V6 (261 horsepower and 281 pound-feet of torque). Because of the smaller engine, the towing capacity of the Frontier is smaller, at around 3,500 pounds.
The Nissan Titan is designed for drivers who need a larger, powerful pickup with the ability to tow and haul heavy loads. A Titan driver will want to maximize abilities and power even if it means a slight reduction in fuel efficiency. The Nissan Frontier, on the other hand, is ideal for those who only need to occasionally take advantage of the pickup’s powers. With its compact size and higher fuel efficiency, the Frontier is better for those who plan on driving their pickup daily, provided they don’t need more power than it offers.
