Since the 2020 Nissan Maxima is just one year removed from a mid-cycle refresh, not much has changed with the sport sedan from an aesthetic standpoint. However, the automaker has shuffled a few high-tech and performance features around to make them standard equipment on more trim grades.

The Nissan Safety Shield 360 system will be equipped across the entire 2020 Maxima trim ladder: S, SV, SL, SR and Platinum. Additionally, the Premium Package accessories and content, which includes the Dual Panel Panoramic Moonroof and Intelligent Around View® Monitor are now standard equipment on the SR trim grade. Finally, Nissan’s Integrated Dynamics Control Module, which was previously only found on the sport-themed SR trim is being equipped on all 2020 Maxima models coming to Jack Ingram Nissan.

Performance and Efficiency Information

Nissan is still committed to delivering an athletic, high performing experience for those sitting behind the wheel of the 2020 Maxima. The automaker is continuing to equip all five trim grades with a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter, V-6 engine attached to a precise and efficient continuously variable transmission. It will produce 300 horsepower and 261 pound-feet of torque. Even with all of this power being sent to the wheels, the 2020 Maxima will be able to record 20 miles per gallon in the city and up to 30 miles per gallon on the highway.
