Standard and Available Features
2020 is bringing big updates to the Versa’s standard feature package. Each and every Versa model now gains a long list of active safety features. The new standard driver-assistance package includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, automatic high-beam assist and rear automatic braking. The base-level Versa S also matures in it
In the 2019 model, a basic standard features package made the base-level Versa S an attractive option for drivers chasing a low MSRP. For 2020, the Versa matures its base trim, adding keyless entry and power windows as standard. Previously reserved for the top-level Versa Special Edition, push-button start now gets put standard on all 2020 Versa models as well.
All-New Exterior Design
Brandishing a completely redesigned exterior, the 2020 Versa comes through with a more striking, aggressive appearance than the milder design of the 2019 model. A new “V-motion” grille and boomerang headlights sharpen the models front end. The all-new Versa also adopts the Maxima’s sharp floating-roof design with a black streak cutting the C-pillar in two.
For 2020, the Versa keeps its 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine but enhances it substantially. The revamped 2020 engine raises the model from 109 horsepower and 107 lb.-ft. of torque to 122 horsepower and 114 lb.-ft. The engine is offered paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic.
