The 2019 Nissan Altima lineup will showcase five trim levels complete with new and updated styling and features. The 2019 Altima lineup will also offer drivers their choice of two engine options. The new Altima's 2.5L 4-cylinder engine will replace a former 2.5L 4-cylinder engine. This may not seem like a change, but with improved technology, engine output is upped to 188 hp and 180 lb-ft of torque. Drivers can also opt for a new variable compression turbo inline 4-cylinder engine. This engine gets drivers 248 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque.
One of the biggest announcements regarding the all-new Altima is the implementation of Nissan's new Intelligent Mobility technologies. Nissan Intelligent Mobility is a suite of technologies and features that use automated driving technology, intelligent sensing, and more to help drivers maintain a safe and stable driving experience. Of the many features in this available suite, one of the main ones is Nissan ProPilot Assist ProPilot Assist uses automated driving paired with intelligent sensors in and around the 2019 Altima to detect traffic patterns and respond in kind.
