Performance Specs
All versions of the 2019 Nissan Kicks available at Jack Ingram Nissan use the same powertrain. Under the hood of the compact crossover SUV is a naturally aspirated 1.6-liter, four-cylinder engine attached to the Nissan Xtronic continuously variable transmission. It will produce 122 horsepower and 114 pound-feet of torque. The 2019 Ford EcoSport offers two engines which will be attached to a six-speed automatic transmission. Ford customers will be able to choose between a turbocharged, 1.0-liter, three-cylinder or a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine.
While the Ford EcoSport can make a bit more power than the 2019 Kicks, the Nissan platform is far more efficient. All versions of the 2019 Nissan Kicks will be able to record 31 miles per gallon* in the city and 36 miles per gallon* on the highway. Under the best circumstances, the 2019 Ford EcoSport will achieve up to 27 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway with the 1.0-liter engine.
