2020 Nissan Murano in Montgomery, AL
When the 2020 Nissan Murano in Montgomery, AL arrives at the Jack Ingram Nissan showroom, it will be just one model year removed from what the manufacturer refers to as a ‘comprehensive refreshening.’ However, that hasn’t stopped Nissan from making some additional changes to one of its most popular crossover SUV platforms. The most important upgrade Nissan has made for the 2020 Murano is expanded access to its cutting-edge suite of active safety systems called, Nissan Safety Shield 360. The SV, SL and Premium trims will have several active safety solutions available including Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert as standard equipment. Customers choosing the base version have the option to add these features.
The 2020 Murano is a two-row, five-passenger crossover SUV with a lot of interior space. People sitting in the driver’s and front passenger seat can have up to 40.5 inches of legroom. Those sitting in the reclining rear seats will be able to use up to 38.7 inches of legroom, depending on the needs of the people in the front seats. Like the rest of the Nissan crossover SUV lineup, the 2020 Murano is able to be easily transformed into one of the best cargo-haulers in its class. When there are people sitting in the back seat, there will 32.1 cubic-feet of cargo volume to use. Folding those seats away will open up the cargo bay to be able to accommodate up to 67 cubic-feet. Models of the 2020 Nissan Murano with the moonroof will have slightly less maximum cargo volume.
Every version of the 2020 Nissan Murano coming to the Jack Ingram Nissan showroom will use the same powertrain. A naturally aspirated 3.5-liter, V-6 engine attached to the Nissan Xtronic continuously variable transmission is under the hood. It will produce 260 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque. When properly equipped, the 2020 Murano can tow up to 1,500 pounds.
Nissan has equipped all coming trim grades of the 2020 Nissan Murano with a smartphone-compatible infotainment system. NissanConnect® will offer universal access to the Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ suites of applications, controlled through an 8-inch touchscreen. Upper trim grades add additional capabilities and premium traffic functions.
