Nissan has not made any significant changes to the sharp aesthetics of the Rogue for the 2020 model year. In its early days of availability, independent reviews have praised the 2020 Rogue for offering comfortable seats and a pleasant ride over the road. The same reviewers continued to be impressed with the Nissan crossover SUV’s roomy passenger cabin and spacious cargo bay. It has a starting MSRP of $25,300. Jack Ingram Nissan customers will have three trim grades to consider when they are shopping for the 2020 Nissan Rogue, S, SV, SL. Most of the vehicle’s versions can be equipped with Nissan Safety Shield 360. Basically, this is a suite of active safety monitoring systems that are designed to work together to help prevent crashes from happening in the first place. The suite of systems includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rear Automatic Braking, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Sport Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and High Beam Assist. These features are standard equipment on the SV and SL trims. The ProPILOT Assist helps take some of the burdens off the driver, especially in heavy highway traffic. It is standard on the Rogue SL and optional on the SV.
Nissan has wisely decided to retain the same tried-and-true powertrain that has served previous models. Under the hood is a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine attached to a continuously variable transmission. It will produce 170 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. Customers will be able to choose front- or all-wheel-drive. In addition, it gets an estimated 26 mpg in the city, 33 mpg on the highway, and 29 mpg combined.
All three 2020 Nissan Rogue trim grades can be equipped with the latest connectivity technology. The Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ suites of applications can be accessed by the driver and passengers in all 2020 Rogue models available at Jack Ingram Nissan. NissanConnect with Navigation is also available on most models.
